Communications and Brand Management Consulting
I founded OneDiaspora Group (ODG) in 1995 and spent many years specializing in media/public relations, brand marketing, and related communications consulting in the areas of entertainment, corporate affairs, special events, sports, and politics. At the company's height, we offered a wide range of clients a full slate of services including strategy development, drafting press materials, and conducting media outreach, among other responsibilities.
In 2015, I decided to pare down the communications aspect of the business model and focus more on public speaking and teaching at the college level. However, I still offer limited communications and branding consultancy, focusing more on overall strategic concepts as well as message and brand development. My more than 30 years in the media/communications industry, including stints as a front-line executive at such companies as CNN, Warner Bros. Television, and Motown Records, as well as ODG, have provided me with extensive experience that remains of value to a variety of past and future clients.
